Dark & Dreary to Dreamy

One of my all time favorite projects in Northwest Austin!

This home started as a deteriorating one story with low ceilings and a lot of tiny rooms.  It was dark, dank and dreary and needed some love.

This was a true "to the studs renovation" and I LOVED it!  I tore the roof off the home, raised the ceilings to 10ft, increased the pitch of the roofline and added a second story expanding spaces and bringing in light.

This dilapidated, dark, dank and dreary ended up absolutely dreamy!

Shabby to Chic

This East Austin treasure was on the brink of foreclosure and collapse.  I knew it had hidden charm, but it would take creative reconfiguration and a lot of hard work.

We reconfigured the roofline by enclosing a tiny porch that was collapsing.  This small change allowed for a gorgeous floating staircase that let light flow from the front to the back of the home.  We also enclosed a storage space to create a full guest bath and laundry room.  The changes were abundant and so worthwhile. We brought out the chic from under all the shabby and created a gem!
